Recorded in Pat Gray's basement studio in short bursts after work (the whole band was bike messengers!). Hearing this for the first time in a long long while I'm struck by how ambitious we were, especially considering that we were far from being accomplished musicians. The recordings were lauded by a number of people, but I'm not surprised that the public at large overlooked our humble and rather tricky offering. There was obviously a lot of amazing music being made in Seattle in those days. I do love John's mad drumming on this thing.
